My parents gave me a typewriter for Christmas when I was about 12, and I spent many happy years tapping away and creating stories.
The advent of eBooks and self-publishing came along at just the right time in my life, and after many years, I finally sat down and decided to fulfill my life-long dream to write and publish fiction.
In addition to my work published here, I have a short story about zombies, "There's Something About Carol", in Splatter: An Anthology of Horror, which is available in print.
I'm working on a science fiction novel about the first colonists from Earth, and what happens on their journey. It's set about 100 years in the future.
I've got more ideas than I can shake a stick at, so there are more short stories, novellas and full-length novels to come.
Then there are the vintage doll repair books, with dressmaking patterns, coming soon, which will be print only.
I'm a native of North Carolina, where I've lived all my life with the exception of about six years during and just after my Air Force service. I have three sons, a male dog and a male cat, so I am the Queen of my domain.
