Smashwords book reviews by Diego Sierra

  • The Destiny of Beauty on March 28, 2011

The Good: Very imaginative story line that will keep you interested through the end. The Bad: Dialog starts off as being very stilted, but does improve as the book goes along. Character development remains shallow and overall descriptiveness of environment, characters and settings is lacking. Overall verdict: Worth reading for the plot driven storyline.
  • The Bonds of Time on April 20, 2011

    Amateurish, choppy and disjointed.
  • An American Branch on Jan. 28, 2012

This is not a terribly written book, rather it it a well written book with a terrible main character. If you enjoy reading about people who are completely self absorbed and continually make poor decisions and then wallow in the results you will find this a delightful read. Not my thing.
  • Captive on May 07, 2012

Outstanding story line and character development! A fantastic book that you won't want to put down.
  • Blackmailed For Vengeance on June 20, 2012

A nice, easy read, like a fantasy romance to lose yourself in.
  • Human Commodity on June 20, 2012

A really interesting premise that gets bogged down in a convoluted and shifting plot. Can't recommend.
  • When Twilight Falls on March 19, 2013

Very good plot line with several well developed characters. Good dialog. There are a few spots that would have benefited from an editor's touch, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • Snakestone and Sword: Book One of A Centurion in the Land of the Fae on Oct. 29, 2013

Very interesting fantasy book with a unique view of the world of the fae. Great character development of the main character and intriguing plot line that will keep you reading. Will definitely purchase the next volume to see where this goes,
  • Hide and Sidhe Book II--A Centurion in the land of the Fae on Oct. 31, 2013

Excellent continuation from book one. Good fantasy fare that will keep you reading until the end and hoping that there will be a book three!
  • Might Have Been on Dec. 29, 2013

This is one of those books that you keep thinking about long after you have read the last page. Highly recommended!
  • A Hope in Hell on Dec. 29, 2013

There's a lot of depth here in a fairly short work.
