Sheila Myers

Biography

I became interested in writing crime novels while watching crime dramas on television. Although I've been fascinated with the crime solving process and forensic science for years, I began wondering what motivated the characters to do what they do. A lot of people only want to follow the investigation, but I wanted to create stories that told the reader more about the feelings and emotions of the characters. I also wanted to share more about the life of the characters outside of the workplace. I refer to this as the life beyond the badge.
