This is a story of a girl who is very sheltered. She moves to a new home and school where is makes friends with a very popular girl, who is into parties and drugs. They decide to play a prank on the girl involving drugs. As the story concludes, you are left wondering if she lives or not, if the other boy lives, and how her parents react to all the happened. There are a lot of questions left unanswered and a lot of other issues, like why they had to move and why her mother is drinking again, left unanswered also. Overall this is a good book to teens to read and think about/discuss but there does need more resolution to the problems at hand.

What a beautiful book about a brothers love. The story is amazing told. This story is about a brother whow would do anything for his sister because that's what it means to love your family. I recommend this book to everyone for a great read out by the pool on a hot summer day!

This is one of the most orginal books I have read in a very long time. The story is told by a the main character reading a journal from her families past. From there is learns just what her life means and the importance her family and her has and will plan in the world. This book is great because it has a little of everything in it from the supernatural world. I fun, differnt read from what is out there for the supernatural lovers!

This is a different take on the whole ghost story, high school drama, love story. It starts off a bit slow for the first few chapter as the author is laying the ground work but once the story kicks into gear, you become sucked in. I like how the author keeps you guessing and nothing is too easy to figure out. Everytime you think you know what is going to happen, there is a curve ball. I look forward to reading the ending of the story and finding out just why and how's everything went down.
  • Friends With Partial Benefits (Friends With Benefits Series (Book 1)) on Sep. 21, 2011

This is not your same old romance book. As you read you get caught how in the different situations and the comedy each one brings. This book is fun, exciting, sexy, and tastefully done, keeping thing really and believable. Great Saturday, by pool or under a tree read. Enjoy!

The idea behind this book is good but the story is lacking and over done in the details. I would catch myself wondering why the write was details every single item in each new setting the characters would go into. I found the story slow and a bit confusing at times. I had a hard time becoming involved in the characters of the book and emotionally invested. With some revisions, I think this book could be great but for now, its just to slow and all over in the details.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a fun read with all the twist and turns of a good book to keep you intersted. It was easy to connect with characters in the book, which is important to me in keeping envolved in the story. I loved how the author had you thinking things were going one way but in the end, ended up in a different direction.

I love a good book that grabs me and I can't put it down until done. This book did that for me. I love the touch of drama, love, mystery all mixed in with secrets and guilt. This is a great book to curl up on the couch with and enjoy!
  • Not Quite Ordinary on Jan. 01, 2012

This book was very engaging, with great plot development, and character development. The story has an under tone of empowerment in one self. She starts out thinking there's nothing special about but c oil mes to learn that's far from the truth. As the story first on she begins to believe in herself good vs evil. Enjoyable read!!!
  • Tempest (#1 Destroyers Series) on Jan. 01, 2012

I really enjoyed the twist and turns this book took. When I thought I figured it all out there would be another surprise! The story showed how believing in yourself and having a true heart you can do anything you want. Though Janelle faced tough decisions, she did what she had to do and made the best of the situation. I would recommend this book to anyone who would enjoy a good book by the fire!
