Stephen learnt how to add up at Marling Grammar School in Gloucestershire, England. He went on to Loughborough University and gained a Bsc Hons in Computer Science. After a few years programming he got itchy feet and disappeared to France. He is a keen racing cyclist, windsurfer and people watcher. Since then he has travelled as much as he can and now divides his time between several countries according to need and whim. Italy remains his favourite country. He lives by the motto "Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you travelled" (Mohammed). Writing is a new passion, it fits in with his love of recalling travel anecdotes. If something in a story sounds unlikely it is probably something that has befallen him in real life.
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." (Friedrich Nietzsche, nineteenth century philospher)

Bill works for a British government agency on a freelance basis doing long term surveillance operations but is currently without a portfolio. The call to action is a welcome one but he is unaware that the subject matter will awake in him his old love of cycling and a new love for Italy.
