Stuart G. Yates

Biography

From Merseyside to Spain, I've worked and studied my entire life. I returned to full-time education at 29, graduating as a teacher 6 years later. I'd had enough of doing dead-end jobs. Teaching is the best thing I've ever done, and teaching History is the best type of teaching. Now, I'm in Spain, with my wife and family, and a dog named George. I have always written, but Spain seems to give me so much time than at any other point in my life and, in 2009, I had my first Young Adult novel published. I've been trying to do this since 1979. I'm now 53 and I write every day, and every day I love it more and more.
