Bella Masters frequently disappoints her parents. She wishes she could spare them the pain but it's unavoidable. At first it was the tatts and piercings. Then dropping out of college. If they knew about her secret writings, well...
Bella writes BDSM in various flavors, ménage à trois relationships, and same sex relationship stories. She doesn't like to limit her options.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up landlocked, to be honest, in the Midwest. Cornfields and cows and miles and miles of pasture. All the while I dreamed of living on the edge -- of anything, and everything! At 18 I moved to Seattle. Migrated from there to Chicago. Spent some time also in the Phoenix area, mostly Tempe (where I dropped out of college, much to my parents chagrin...). And I am currently living in New Orleans. Why all of the moves? They suited me at the time. And New Orleans is suiting me very well, at this moment.
But I've not really answered your question. Growing up small town Midwest caused me to dream. Fantasize. Exercise my imagination. Anytime I wanted. Plus, it gave me a lot of opportunity to read and dabble with writing words myself. Thus, it all influenced my writing.
When did you first start writing?
Young. Young! I can't remember exactly when. I have always loved words. I learned to talk and read at a young age. Always fascinated with language and words. I wrote short stories in elementary school and in high school was plotting out my first novel.
