I have read this series twice and, now that it's been released as a ebook, I'm going to read it again. Over the years, there have been many books/series written concerning the end of the world, both in mainstream and Christian publishing. I've read some of the so-called "end times" fiction that has come out in the Christian market as well.
I must say that TCCT (The Christ Clone Trilogy) is, by far, the most technically-rich of the lot. Beauseigneur manages to link technology with what the Bible says in a very fresh way that makes it believable. And the basic premise of the Christ-clone is not outside the realms of imagination. Although some of the stuff in the series are improbable, they are quite possible. I guess this is what makes it a good read.
I would recommend the series for those who are a little more technically-inclined. You might also find it interesting if you know your Bible (e.g How do you prove a man is a Jew or a Moslem? Why, you pull down his pants of course! - read the book and you'll know what I am talking about.)
Having said this, I would include a caveat in this review - bear in mind that this is a fictional series and not to be taken as a basis for any theological conclusions. For that - look to the Scriptures. :)
In any case, I'm quite sure that, once you've read the 1st book, you'll want to read the 2nd and 3rd installments too.
