When there's a series of tragic drownings in a Sydney neighbourhood over the holidays a young boy is traumatised by the noises he's heard around the time of the deaths. With the help of a friend and his superstitious grandmother, they work out he's being followed by the mythical Irish banshee, and need to work out a way to get rid of her before its too late.
