S. V. Peddle

Sandra and Vince Peddle are joint authors, writing under the pen-name S.V. Peddle. They first met while living and teaching in Crete in the mid 1980s and married shortly afterwards. Born in Leicester and High Wycombe respectively, they are both keen travellers and have lived in such far flung places as USA, South Africa, Germany, Greece and Turkey, as well as Portsmouth, Manchester, Wellingborough and Watford (where they taught in local schools and owned a secondhand bookshop in the High Street.) They presently live on the Jersey, one of the British Channel Islands.

They started writing seriously in 1996 and have written a number of books, all inspired by their shared passion for Crete, ancient religion and modern popular culture. The Moon Maiden was originally published in 2003 by Blackie and Co, but has since undergone a considerable rewrite and has been re-published in Smashwords, Kindle and as a paperback by Amazon Createspace. Pagan Channel Islands, a work of non-fiction, was published by Robert Hale in 2007 in hardback and in paperback in 2009.
