When did you first start writing?
Leslie Parma:
I wrote ad copy for five years. This gave me my basic training in writing. I began writing porn for pleasure twelve years ago. I was curious and interested in just about everything, but I realized that coercive sex scenarios including capture, interrogation, sexual humiliation and torture fascinated me the most. When I started to write these types of stories drew me. And, after I had written about a dozen, I couldn't help but notice that 'vanilla' sex wasn't well represented. Who knows what compels us and where it comes from? Our psyches, as someone observed, are ant hills teaming with conflicting ideas, concepts, emotions and feelings.
Joshua Reyes:
When I was a kid, I wrote poems and short stories. Really started writing when I was in my twenties.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Leslie Parma:
I didn't plan to be an indie writer, but as I kept delving into the subjects that drew me, writing became the logical next step. For years I wrote for free, but my readers encouraged me to expand my horizons and the advent of the eBook format became a boon for me and so many others.
Joshua Reyes:
Rotten porn writing by so many untalented hacks. There were so many poorly written stories out there, with weak editing and typos, I knew I could do better.
