In 2011, a question was posed: "What is your purpose?" Well, who better to tell you your purpose then your Creator? Well, I am a writer... allow me to stop there for a moment. I AM A PUBLISHED AUTHOR! Never in my wildest dreams did I think God would call me to write anything more than my name on a check to pay a bill.
I'm the unassuming girl-next-door with a big smile and I have the awesome task of doing what I love...writing! My objective is to encourage and inspire individuals to pursue their life's purpose with enthusiasm! I am encouraged and inspired to encourage and inspire YOU!
I have the amazing responsibility of reminding you that no matter where you are in life, YOU HAVE A PURPOSE! Despite those things you don't like about yourself or those things that others may not like about you, YOU STILL HAVE PURPOSE! It is my desire that you will one day look into the mirror and see the beauty in your life (the good and not so good parts about your life) that I KNOW is in you without ever meeting you face to face. My desire is that you joyfully and purposefully walk in your purpose no matter what challenges you face!
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Tamika graduated from Rutgers University-Newark with a degree in Criminal Justice. In 2011, stepped out on faith and relocated to Newport News, Virginia where she is an Executive Assistant at a mental health agency.
Tamika loves visiting aquariums and museums, reading and writing. In her spare time, she enjoys questioning Jesus on the miraculous things He's done in her life that she never thought possible. The conversation usually starts and ends with her simply saying, "For real Lord?"
