  • Temperature: Dead and Rising on March 31, 2011
    (no rating)
I have just finished reading Temperature: Dead and Rising by Adam Santo and I found it to be an enjoyable read from start to finish.I am guaranteed to like any book that has zombies in it because I am a huge fan of any book in the horror as well as the fantasy and supernatural genres.Temperature: Dead Rising was well written and very descriptive which is why I give it 5 stars.
  • Love Immortal on April 06, 2011

I've just finished reading Love Immortal and found it intriguing. The story of Jewell and Collin and how much they loved each other even though they had only known each other for a short time.Besides being a love story there was also suspense and a plot line that had to do with the Holy Grail.Parts of Love Immortal were similar to Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.I give Love Immortal five stars for being a captivating and intriguing read.
  • Sons of Sin on April 11, 2011

Sons of Sin started out interesting and fast-paced but it slowed down quickly and I was more than a little confused with the main character's sudden change from a woman into a man.It was completely unexpected. I did like that a good part of the book took place in Japan because there aren't many novels that use Japan as a backdrop to whatever story they are telling.I give Sons of Sin 3 stars because while it was a bit confusing and hard to follow it was very well written
  • Josie's Thorn on April 12, 2011

Josie's Thorn started off fast paced and didn't slow down at all through the book. The story was filled with suspense and mystery and I couldn't get enough of the incredible chemistry between Josie and Jacob.I cheered when they finally gave in to their love for each other and put aside all of the years of hurt and anger between them to raise their son as a family.Josie's Thorn gets 5 stars from me for having such believable characters, plenty of suspense, and a faithful animal companion named Bo.
  • Twenty-Somewhere on April 14, 2011

It was a pleasure to read Twenty Somewhere by Kristan Hoffman.I really identified with each of the women in her book because I went through some of the same things as the characters did for instance, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life and still living at home. Each character, both male and female was completely real and if they were actual people I could definitely see myself being friends with each of them. For all of the reasons above, I give Twenty Somewhere by Kristan Hoffman a 5 star review.
  • Hush Money (Talent Chronicles) on April 15, 2011

I really enjoyed reading Hush Money because I was a lot like Joss when I was in high school, doing everything possible to be invisible and to remain under the radar of the bullies but I didn't have the power to move things with just my mind and a flick of my finger.I was happy that Joss found a friend in Kat and the other girls who she was able to be herself with towards the end of the book.Throughout the book I was rooting for Joss and Dylan to get together and for Marco and Jeff to finally get exactly what they deserved.
  • Cowboys and Olympians on June 19, 2011

I thought this book was great.I enjoyed the storyline very much and the way Katie and Leo's relationship evolved couldn't have been written any better.I was also happy to see the character of Katie change from a spoiled rich girl into a more humble, caring person.
  • Spoon-fed Addiction on June 19, 2011

Spoon-fed addiction told the story of Adirian's last day alive. It was dark and at times disturbing but worth taking the time to read.I thought it was a very true to life depiction of the life of a drug dealer.
  • Nature of the Beast on June 23, 2011

Nature of the beast by Jodi Langston is a well written book with equal amounts of romance and suspense.I enjoyed each of the characters particularly Angie and Kathy for being two strong female characters who weren't afraid to fight for what they wanted.Looking forward to reading the next book featuring Nick Dempsey.
  • The Dying God & Other Stories on July 07, 2011

Having the chance to read S.M. Carriere's collection of short stories again reminded me how much I enjoyed each story the first time I read it.
  • Hunter's Choice on July 15, 2011

This was a great short story and I enjoyed it very much.I'll definitely be reading more of Shiloh Walker's books in the future.
  • Sojourner (Sojourner Series Book 1) on July 21, 2011

I thought the plot was intriguing and well written.I also thought that the author's variation of an angel was great.I found the way Lev and Elizabeth interacted reminded me a bit of how the main characters of the Twilight series interacted.I look forward to reading the other books in this series very much.
  • Scary Mary on Aug. 12, 2011

Scary Mary definitely lives up to the title and I loved all of Mary's comebacks and sarcastic remarks. This is a book that I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys a good haunted house story and to fans of the paranormal genre.
  • There's A Killer Lurking At Every Curb on Aug. 25, 2011

Travis Ford has created a good storyline with interesting characters but the amount of spelling and grammar errors took too much away from the story itself.
  • Compulsion on Jan. 12, 2012

I enjoyed reading Compulsion very much. I finished it in about 3 hours. I found all of the characters to be engaging and interesting particularly Lily. I understood why she got angry with Mason but when she finally forgave him I cheered. Dax and his brother were so wicked but they served their purpose of making the story exciting for the reader. I am seriously hoping that there will be a sequel so I can get more of Mason and the rest of the Moon clan. I also want to see what Dax has planned next.
