Biography

Author Tara Manderino loves to create stories and situations for the people running around in her head. She first began writing in third grade when she realized she couldn't afford her reading habit.

Tara resides in her native town in southwestern Pennsylvania. When she’s not writing her own stories, or reading, Tara likes to bake, watch old movies, and do a variety of crafts.

A Confederate Yankee in Annabelle's Court is truly a sweet romance. The characters are charming, and their method of travel is unique. Seth's speech brings the old south to life, and shows in sharp contrast to Annabelle's cut and dried modern speech. A very pleasant story to bring a smile and sigh to your lips.

A fast paced rollicking read that takes you through the art galleries to the waterways and ranches of Texas. Strong and independent, Max only wants to be free to paint, then in walks chauvinistic Jon Donnell --- the absolute antithesis of everything she holds dear. Jon Donnell, a designer at the top of his field, wants to use Max’s work. Only, he’s convinced Max is a male! Definitely a recommended read.

Wonderful emotion in this short story. The reader can’t help but be drawn to Hannah’s plight and her solution. Ms. DeVaney does a masterful job in A Matter of Taste in getting the reader to understand Hannah. I look forward to reading more of Ms. DeVaney’s work.
