Tara Marcus, a single mom based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, has been escaping through the world of reading and writing since she was a little girl. She enjoys traveling (she worked three years as a counselor in the Marshall Islands), thunderstorms, tattoos, and loud music. Aside from her computer, her favorite possession is her black guitar. When she is not working as a casting director for a U.S. TV series, Tara’s days float between attending college for a counseling degree working with at-risk youth, helping her kids with homework, playing guitar and singing, and creating fantasy worlds for her imaginary characters to inhabit. She prefers spending time with creative people or those viewed as different by conventional society; anyone who is unafraid to be themselves.
