Tara Meissner

Biography

Tara Meissner is a former journalist and a lifelong creative writer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and works part-time at her local library. Tara lives in Wisconsin with her husband, Michael, and their three sons. She writes longhand in composition notebooks. Stress Fracture: A Memoir of Psychosis is her first book.

When did you first start writing?
I learned to write at the regular age ... first grade. I started getting paid to write when I was 19. I took the craft seriously at age 33.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing is how I learn. Discovery is a great joy.
