  • The Fool and the Fiend on Oct. 05, 2015

"Hmmm, can't say I'm shocked to find that fascism tastes so bland!" Very funny in ways you won't expect, this particular bus-ride is a real trip. Destination, a twisted collision of comedy, horror and psycho-drama you've never been to before. Whatever you do, don't lose your ticket.
  • The King of the Dumps on Nov. 18, 2015

"Say cheese banana breath" Straddling the line between fan fiction and irreverent spoof, this is a short and snappy story that can be read over a cup of coffee. The punchlines land nicely and the details are well crafted. Enjoy.
  • The Sleeper With The Restless Eyes Who Sleeps Beneath A Sleeper on Nov. 18, 2015

I did as suggested and read this to my young son. Now he's disturbed beyond repair and has been removed from my care and institutionalised. I would sue the author but as I was getting sick of the little brat anyway, everything worked out for the best.
  • My Idea For An Ideal Heaven on July 23, 2016

Entertaining exploration of the more paranoid side of our nature.
  • Alien Optimism, a Little Bigotry and Wonder on May 20, 2017

    Short and neat.
  • The Battle for the Flesh on July 10, 2017

Well, where to begin? I suppose it’s a tale of lust, revenge and D.I.Y. provoked supernatural violence. As he often demonstrates, Mr S. ably bends genre and convention to serve his particular brand of black humoured zaniness. Want to know more? Then dive in, it's well worth it. P.S. Bloody hell Jonny, that cover!
  • The Bloody History Of The Su'Varock Mines on Nov. 29, 2017

Well you can't say the title's not accurate, there's a fair amount of history and it IS very bloody. Style wise, well imagine an epic Anglo-Saxon saga written by Gary Gygax. Oh and some fun insights into the social habits of certain mythical creatures. I've said too much. Bye!
  • Garrick The Hobgoblin And The Goblins Of The Blooded Belly Gang on Feb. 14, 2019

This one's a raucous and earthy tale which nicely inverts the traditional fantasy point of view. Following an eventful and thrill filled backstory, an unlikely hero emerges who finds himself facing an increasingly perilous series of challenges in a story that has almost as many twists and turns as the tunnels of the Su'Varock mines. All this shenanigans is delivered with action packed pacing and a generous dose of fun. Along the way, expect plenty of bad behaviour, explosive bursts of violence and enough crude insults to see you through a New York traffic jam. Dive right in, you won't regret it!
  • Whatever, Whomever, Whenever, Why ever on Nov. 24, 2019

Imagine my annoyance when I downloaded this expecting to read the lyrics of the popular Shakira song.
  • Space Snot on Dec. 06, 2019

Entertaining, funny and a great introduction to the author's longer works.
  • May Contain ????? ????? on June 10, 2020

Chewy little morsel with a familiar aroma. Watch out for the aftertaste!
  • A Group of Good Friends With A Virus (and the lowly trickster type called p) on Dec. 22, 2020

A timely tale from an intriguing perspective, read on.
  • The Final Thoughts of an Atheist on May 21, 2021

Starts quite melancholy then detours darkly, ultimately greeting oblivion with warmth and acceptance. I can go with that.
