This is a great e-book with a sweet story and life teaching. The author has a wonderful spirit who only wishes to share goodness through her writing. Her poetic gift is embedded in this book; a gift in which she should be incredibly proud! The illustrator (a very young, beautiful talent!), like the author, shares the spirit and is a "gift" herself to all who know and love her. Together, they created a story and message that is incredibly special and magical!

Wow! What a special and heartwarming story! Though I attempted to watch a recorded show on tv while reading this book (sorry), I was so pulled in, that I missed the show, and even let the commercials play through! :-) In today's world of impatience, instant gratification and technological options of visual media, to pull me away from this "guilty pleasure" should say (especially to the author who knows me) this story drew me in from the first page! It was so sweet that I couldn't wait to turn the page (or scroll down, :-)) to get to the inevitable and happy ending I knew would be coming. Moreover, the dedication brought tears because with all the turmoil some, or likely many, families face today, this 40-something mother of two affected me in such a way that the book's impact may have a variety of intentions, but ultimately there was one commonality....the impact and importance of FRIENDSHIP, TRUST, LOVE & FAMILY. That's all that really matters in life....thank you~

This story is both inspiring and comforting. The illustrations are wonderful. Once again, a very special book, whose author is a caring, loving person, and aunt. The message is simple, yet a great reminder of ensuring one, especially her nephew Garrit, who is ultimately there to protect, guide, and save those from all of life's detours and destructive paths. The sincerity and love behind these words will always be cherished. It is a great gift that should be shared with children and adults-young and old. A gift that can be read daily, nightly, and anytime that reminder is needed. I would highly recommend this book!
