I read this one from start to finish after downloading and was sorry that it ended so quickly. Robyn has a gift of building character loyalty, and it didn't take long for me to bond with them. The Witchsmeller combines classic horror with modern fears; it leaves much of the suspense in the reader's mind, while subtly guiding to the intended premise. Robyn walks through multiple themes, the human desire for power contrasted against the ethics of a just society, joining forces to repel a common threat - think "The Pit and the Pendulum" meets "Needful Things". 5 Stars.
