  • The High Duties of Pacia: The Complete Saga on Jan. 13, 2014

I really enjoyed this book. Like any other review I post, I refuse to offer up spoilers. I do not like those kinds of reviews. It ruins the surprise, I think. I was captivated right away and curious as to what the characters were hiding. Once I found out I couldn’t stand the thought of having to stop reading it. I am not saying that this book has been the best I have ever read, but it is certainly up there in the books I loved reading. I think many would enjoy this story, especially boys between 10-15 as they like to be rowdy and rambunctious in a different way than when they were younger. I would definitely suggest this to my nephews and brothers as well as anyone that enjoys a good book lost in a world of imagination.
  • Alone on Aug. 10, 2014

I received an ecopy of Alone in exchange for an honest review. Post-apocalyptic stories are not usually something I read, but because I loved the last book by this author, I was willing to give it a shot. It’s so much more than I expected. When I think post apocalypse I think zombies and that just doesn’t work for me….but this story is different! And it’s so well written. I think it is definitely worthy of anyone’s time to read. I can’t really suggest it to a certain genre because well, I usually only read paranormal/fantasy….but yea I am so glad I read it. Way worth it! Great story!
  • Shifter on Aug. 10, 2014

I received an ecopy of Shifter in exchange for an honest review. I flipping LOVED Shifter! I mean really loved it. This is the first book I have read by Jennifer Reynolds but will certainly NOT be the last. I would recommend this book to everyone that is into paranormal. Witches kick ass in this book!!!! It’s great! I have to say if you are reading this review then you NEED to read the book! You will love it!
  • Burn My Soul ~Part I on Sep. 14, 2014

“…hotter than two squirrels making love in a wool sock.” Ever have the feeling of déjà vu and wondered why? Jinny does, and soon she will find out it’s for good reason. She is a reincarnate of herself from centuries ago. Her sweet dreams have become that of nightmares ever since she met the man from those very dreams, who happens to be her soul mate from all those years ago. Unfortunately for Jinny, he is a demon and even worse, she is being tormented by Satan himself. I had mixed emotions about this book. The first 4 chapters were boring and so full of self-doting, that I found it annoyed me. But at chapter 5, the book picked up and became so interesting that I couldn’t pull myself away even to answer the phone (which says a lot because I am one to answer on the first ring). Problem with that, the chapters are so long that the book was half over before I really started enjoying it and I would have never understood the second half had it not been for the first half, so I guess it’s one of those times where you have to take the bad to get to the really good! I would recommend this book to patient readers of the fantasy and paranormal genres. It is definitely worth the read if you can just have the patience in knowing that it does get way better.
