    It was another bad dream about the basement, the furnace room, and the bathroom where she took her daily shower -- that's one of the early lines in this fine and creepy book. That line is followed soon by this one: It was the unknown spirit that terrified Sara, something ancient with uncontrollable anger warning her to leave. Those are great lines that speak of the entertaining horror you'll find in the pages of this book. I wouldn't dream of telling you how the story plays out, about the macabre fun you'll have as the events herein unfold for your reading pleasure. I will, however, recommend that you grab a copy of this book. This is one of those short and deliciously horrific little rides into creepsville that's very much worth taking. I give it 5 Stars only because 10 or 20 aren't options.

    I enjoyed the heck out of this story. Author J.T. Marie (a pseudonym for author J.M. Snyder) said she offered this story as an example of her writing. Well, I think it was a damn good example! So much so that I hope you'll excuse me -- I have to go track down more of her writing:)
