I'm currently working on a children's book. My hopes are to help encourage young reading.
Who are your favorite authors?
One of my most favorite authors is Doctor Sues. Another author that I absolutely enjoy is Shel Silverstein book A Light in the Attic. He had wrote some of the most detailed and imaginative poems that I had ever read. His poetry had inspired me to do my own poetry as a kid.

This very lovely full color book of poems is based on real life experience's and emotions that anyone can relate to. Each poem has a unique story behind it. The poems have identified some points in time when those personal, emotional experience's have become very realistic to us and they have been put into beautiful poems.

This book is a must read book!! As a kid, I remember being told that pain was only a figment of ones imagination. After reading this book, I can believe it even more than I ever had in my past. I don’t think I can ever look at my past as I had before. Only because, the scars I carry are small. This is a story that one can only keep locked away and buried within them. How this author ever survived the brutal abuse that she had gone through, I will never really know. As a child I was abused in a couple of different ways but, to have to experience the kind of abuse that the author of this book did. I'm not sure I could have been as strong as she was. How she will ever be able to really live a full life now, I won't know. I still to this day think about what I could do to make the people that hurt me as a child disappear. I'm sure she has done the same. This kind of abuse leaves lifelong scars in one's heart. Scars that no one can every help you run away from. I can only pray for the author to find peace within herself and that God helps heal her bruised soul. That he replaces the evil memories with the love and joy of her children. For those of you that are reading this, this is an amazing book! For the author of the book, I want to say thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm sure it will help many victims who are living the same kind of nightmare.
