Tyra Wilson
Biography
Tyra Wilson was born in Columbia, Maryland, raised throughout the Eastern Shore, Howard County and Baltimore City. Her first piece of work came in the form of a poem titled Greater Life for You, dedicated to her father when he passed in 1995 which she also read at his funeral. Throughout the years, she’s written for and inspired friends to write and make their voices heard. Truths and Trusts is Tyra’s first self-published novel with a plethora of short unpublished stories and poetry under her belt. Her second and third novels are already in the making and will be published in mid - late 2015. In her spare time, she likes to design scrapbooks, hand make fashion jewelry, play the Sims 3, work out, read, write and travel. With Edgar Alan Poe being one of her most admired writers, Tyra has also been inspired by an array of successful writers such as Nikki Giovanni, Maya Angelou, James Patterson, Omar Tyree, Zane, Carl Webber, Emily Dickenson and Harper Lee, just to name a few. Today, Tyra resides in Baltimore County and works as an Admin. Asst. while continuing to do what she loves to do best.....write.
