Biography

Valerie Estelle Frankel was born at an early age. Her essays on pop culture, Harry Potter, and the heroine’s journey have appeared in such collections as The Prisoner and Philosophy, Inside Joss’ Dollhouse, and Reading the Rift, along with eighty other anthologies and magazines. She’s very excited about her new academic book, From Girl to Goddess: The Heroine’s Journey in Myth and Legend. She's also the author of Henry Potty and the Pet Rock: An Unauthorized Harry Potter Parody and its sequel.
