VAO Publishing is a division of the non-profit Valley Artist Outreach. Our mission is to promote the voices of writers in the Río Grande Valley. To achieve this goal, we are implementing a three-pronged strategy:

* editing an annual anthology of local talent
* publishing a small number of titles by Valley authors each year
* providing creative writing workshops to aspiring local writers
