I really enjoyed this book and what was crazy is that it was free??? I read it in less than 24 hours it was that thought provoking. The work speaks for itself. It's a refreshing love story of self-discovery. Grad student Allie has a lot to deal with. She is one of three family members that she has left. She's lost her mother to tragedy and her grandmother to old age. All that's left is her baby sister and her daughter. She's struggling to go to grad school and survive when she takes a job as teacher to 18 and under kids on a pop television show called "Superstars." It's American Idol with an awesome twist. In comes Chris one of the shows top contenders. He's 27, gorgeous, and sex on legs!! Think Chris Daughtry here, but even hotter. He comes into her life and sweeps her away. She has to decide if she's ready to deal with his celebrity, all while at the same time, battling being hurt from a previous relationship. Allie is one strong chick and I felt myself constantly cheering for her. She doesn't let people push her down and treads on through her struggles. If your looking for a strong heroine, excellent writing, and a heart warming celebrity love story this is it here. It's a great "new adult" read and those in their twenties will definitely relate to this title!

I enjoyed this one and read it very quickly. The writing is stellar and the story is moving. It's interesting to see a girl love someone in a way she could never be loved. My heart went out to her and found myself intrigued by her journey for independence the entire way.
