I find the lack of "true poetry" as defined by Robert Graves to be a sad commentary on our culture and literary canon. This magical collection of poems written by a poet who aspires to be a Poet are bijoux sympathiques.

An alchemical treatise on friendship and the nature of spirit. An enjoyable and engaging piece. So nice to have literature that engenders thought.

I believe Eugene is tactfully suggesting that the author needs to become a little more seasoned. I would agree that perhaps honing one's craft should be a priority.
