Biography

Steve Dinh is a prolific math problem solver. He has solved many difficult international and national math problems used in International Mathematical Olympiad competitions (www.imo-official.org) that have not been solved in decades by others. He assigns mathematical problems to select the final group of students to represent the United States in annual IMO competitions and also acts in the same capacity for other countries. He also makes up mathematical problems for the annual competitions at Harvard, MIT and Stanford universities. His other hobbies include writing poetry and piloting airplanes.
