I found The Glass Sky to be an enjoyable, action-packed story with lots of drama, suspense and humour. It's 2050 and a small group of very likable protagonists are working on one last chance to save the earth from the catastrophic results of global warming. They've developed a science-based plan to build a controllable shield in space that can direct the sun's rays. Control of the shield is the ultimate political prize, and even while on the brink of disaster nations are unwilling to cooperate and self-interest rules the day. The international intrigue, fast-paced action, and moral dilemmas faced by the central characters kept me captivated till the end. This book is a great read that challenged some of my thinking about the future of our world. It would make a terrific movie!
