Magnificent is angry. Her father died in a tragic accident, leaving her to carry on his quest. He didn't warn her about Valhalla, never mentioned the bird monsters out to get her brother, and didn't bother to tell her that her destiny is to be a doorway to the underworld. Was her dad murdered? What does her family really know? And where do the vampires and Valhalla fit in?
