I had a bright idea, 'Teeny Time Travel Tales' of only 78 words. It's much more of a challenge than you might think, and very like those picture puzzles where you slide the squares around in a grid, until they are in the right order. But words are very restless, more, then less, then different - then perfect. :o)

  • Jimmy Stone's Ghost Town on Jan. 23, 2011

This is a very enjoyable book that deals with the trials of growing up in a complicated world and the compexities of dealing with loss ...in a mildly spooky kinda tone. It is an engaging story that is told in a simple style , one i would have enjoyed in my youth. Its age group issues are dealt with in a sensitive and delicate way . I was particularily pleased by the ending because it wasnt predictable , a fate many good books can suffer from . It brightened up a dull rainy afternoon.
  • Slow Down on Jan. 30, 2011

  • Falling Star on Feb. 20, 2011

This book is like a black and white 1950`s sci-fi film , a genre i have always enjoyed. The story carefully and subtly connects past events to the present day , liberally sprinkled with technical information that makes it believable and gives great depth to the well thought out plot.It moves forward at a good pace and has a very professional feel to it .A great read .

  • Concrete Underground on March 31, 2011

This book oozes quality , a truly modern tale that jumps off the page and bites down , dragging you into its murky depths with you screaming for more . It moves at a healthy pace and has a good solid feel to it, its roots are a complex story that throws you off balance as it unravells. Recomended .
  • PaxCorpus on April 15, 2011

This tale powers along like a juggernaut , different threads of a strong storyline interlace and explore a range of characters constantly under pressure. The action is regular and well handled , reliably noisy and gory . Surprising poetic moments are sprinkled throughout which added another dimension to the whole experience . recommended.
  • The Meyersco Helix on Sep. 12, 2011

An excellent thriller that quickly combines a larger than life scenario with your new found concerns for the likeable main characters. In the grand tradition you have good to root for and varying degrees of bad to dislike, with a healthy dose of sex and violence giving a sharp edge to the interesting storyline. One that constantly twists and turns. It is hard to judge the size of a book on the Kindle but this felt like a big read. A sense of depth is achieved by the healthy blend of elements within it, a good balance of science, action and a range of varied characters are formed well by the quality of writing throughout. A great read from it's beginning to the well executed ending.
