Biography

Car Noir is a new free eBook short story, published on 1/1/2014. This is the second eBook in the Michael Ferris mystery series. In Car Noir, Mike joins the hunt for the murderer of a car salesman. Most of Car Noir was written in the first half of 2013, but the polishing took awhile, as I took several breaks from writing in the last half of the year. The Michael Ferris mysteries feature fictional Colorado characters with liberal viewpoints, the conversations are food for thought, not necessarily my true beliefs. Look for more Michael Ferris mysteries in the future.

As a firm believer that SciFi should be humorous, I liked the tone of this story. Wondered why Gerry wasn't fully mobile, as the adventure would've been the same if she was totally mobile. I'll probably never draw a bath dressed in interviewing clothing ever again in my entire life after this.
  • DEAD(ish) on June 19, 2010

Although I sometimes forgot who was "I", the story was quite enjoyable. Wondered how she managed to bring animate objects to Mike, do lipstick tubes float down the corridor?

    I liked the lady bartender.
