I am sure this is the first poem ever published with me in it, so it gets 5 stars from me, of course! But seriously, I love the way poetry flows from you. Like most of us, I am sure you think that your particular gifts are common to everyone, but I want to tell you that it is a special gift of yours; one which I am very glad to see has finally made it to be published. Thank you very much for putting your personal writing 'out there' for us to read and enjoy more easily. The Lord continue to bless you, and may your latter end be more blessed than your beginning.

Poems of The Sea

This book is full of love; that particular love that is unfathomable to those of us who have not done military service; who have not trained together, braved the elements, & faced the enemy. But these poems give me a glimpse, help me see in a glass darkly, the comradely love between my Father & the men with whom he went to sea. Also in this book there is another love - the love of simply sailing the sea. Now that I can fathom, and share. and nothing brings it back to sharp clear salty memory like these poems. Thank you for publishing them.
