- Mindy's Family; A Short Story of Incest
on April 25, 2011
As usual with a story by Esmerelda Greene, this story was well written. And as usual the grammar and spelling were correct which is always appreciated. A great many short story writers don't seem to bother or else they have lousy editors.
As for the story Esmerelda doesn't mind pushing the limits. This particular story was both erotic and funny something not always easy to achieve. If you like erotica you can always count on Esmerelda Greene. And she isn't bad for funny either. I recommend the story.

I think this is the longest work I have read by Esmerelda Greene. As always the quality is excellent, the grammar and spelling both first rate. I mention grammar and spelling because not many writers of short fiction seem to care. In fact, not every writer of long fiction seems to care these days. I am afraid that this is a pet peeve of mine. I do not like paying for shoddy work.
As erotica the story is very good. It handles incest in an amusing and exciting way. I must say that the lesbian scenes are excellent and very exciting. I am not an expert on lesbian sex but it is obvious the Esmerelda Greene is. But it is not enough to be an expert you have to be able to write well enough to convey it to the reader. The author does this in just that manner. I happily recommend this novella.

This was a special story written by a wonderful author. In a few deft strokes it brings back a war fought before I was born. Then it tells a very exciting wartime love story of two young women. I can recommend this story to any reader straight or gay.

Sorry, this story was not really to my taste. I like BDSM and erotica but I don't like sadism and slavery. And jerks like Samuel shouldn't be allowed to walk the earth. On the other hand the story was well written and it flowed well. I plan to try other works by Merson to see if I like them better. I suspect some of his milder work will be more to my taste. If you like this type of work then you should enjoy this one.
