Biography
Melanie was born on July 1987 in Manila, Philippines where she grew up and live all her life. She started writing poems and short stories since she was 12 years of age and her friends and classmates were her first avid readers. She became a writer in a literature column of their campus' journal during her senior year in high school.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse on year 2008. She started working as a volunteer since then and writing became her second job.
She promised God to use her talents in touching lives of other people, whether in nursing or in writing. That's the reason why most of her works are inspirational and health promotion topics.
Aside from serving people and writing, Melanie also has passion to rock music. She enjoys listening to Paramore, Flyleaf, The Script and Linkin Park.
Melanie believes that everything in life is beautiful. And in order for that something to be beautiful, you must APPRECIATE it FIRST.
