  There is nothing wrong with writing thoughts and generate what will be a very enjoyable pillowbook. However the author's approach is wrong from the start. The author provides nothing in the first three pages to make the reader want to continue reading. While I personally like reading about other people's thoughts and opinions, it is really only enjoyable when it can be related back to the reader. In this case, it is like listening to that annoying friend with whom you had gone out for coffee and wonder when she's going to stop talking vainly about herself regarding matters that you really don't care about. I can't really recommend this work. I really do like the concept, but it requires more refinement.
