Zack Keller
Biography
Zack Keller was born and raised in Piedmont, a small town in northern California originally founded as a summer retreat across the Bay for wealthy San Franciscans. The son of a lawyer and elementary school reading teacher, he learned at a young age to keep his nose buried in books and away from the law.
After many long years enjoying the forest, friends and food the East Bay had to offer, Zack moved to Los Angeles to attend USC’s School of Cinematic Arts then began working in the film industry for Pixar Animation Studios and The Jim Henson Company. With the creative genius of his long-time friend, the two directors founded their own animation company known curiously as Remochoso and created “Dick Figures“, the highest viewed and rated animated web series on YouTube with over 160 million views and growing. His work has been highlighted by USA Today, LA Times, LA Weekly, Animation Magazine (Rising Stars of Animation 2011), and TechCrunch, amongst others. At night, however, Zack always wrote novels.
Finally, his first novel, The Success of Suexliegh, has come to fruition after many late night bottles of wine and meetings with helpful scoundrels. Zack currently lives in Los Angeles with his girlfriend (inspirator/illustrator on their children’s books) and their destructive dwarf rabbit.
