I quite enjoyed this book, it was dark and twisted but very interesting. It kind of reminded me of the bluest eye by Toni Morrison, as it told through Hailey who seems innocent compared to everything surrounding her. I thought it could have been developed more since its a very short book. I would look forward to reading Tusa's other works.
