Terry Baker Mulligan is the author of Sugar Hill: Where The Sun Rose Over Harlem, which won the first place 2012 Independent Publishers (IPPY) Gold Medal for Adult Multi-cultural Nonfiction. In 2013, Sugar Hill won First Place Benjamin Franklin Awards for Autobiography/Memoir and Multicultural Writing. She grew up in Harlem across from the Grange, Alexander Hamilton’s home, and now lives in St, Louis, MO.

Rachel Straub, MS, CSCS, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Carnegie Mellon, where she received her BA in chemistry with university and research honors. She holds master’s degrees in exercise physiology and nutritional sciences from San Diego State University and a third master’s degree in biokinesiology (with a focus on biomechanics) from the University of Southern California.
