If I am brutally honest I would say my writing style is unique. I probably break every grammar rule in the book as I like my stories to flow as if alive. When I write a novel I structure it like I am building a house. First I begin with the foundations of the characters; I try to create them as human as possible with all the common frailties and traits that we all possess. Then I start on the frame, or the outline of the story and then it is a race to build the walls, plaster the walls, put in the electrics and gas and then CRASH! The house explodes into life. In Zachania I sometimes have five or six different events running beside each other but all going to one direction, it is like five separate forest fires ... read more
