Kyle B. Stiff
Kyle B. Stiff used to review video games for a living and developed a reputation as an out-of-control maverick because he never once used the phrase "edge of your seat" or claimed that a game would leave the player "breathless".
He is hard at work writing and rewriting the various books in two epic series, Demonworld and Heavy Metal Thunder. The first is a post-apocalyptic "hero's journey" through the human condition; the second follows a branching narrative structure that borrows elements from the classic Choose Your Own Adventure and Lone Wolf gamebooks, then updates the genre with quality writing and adult themes.
Kyle B. Stiff has been around long enough to know that he knows very little about the world, ... read more

When not playing with her kids, wrestling her dogs out the door, or cooking dinner for her family, you'll find her typing furiously and growling obscenities to the characters on the screen.
Her best-selling series The Wolf's Mate, Wiccan-Were-Bear, The Necklace Chronicles, Hyena Heat, and Ashland Pride are available now.

My story is a bit dramatic. I entered self-publishing when my wife and I faced a triple-threat life changing series of events.
She was diagnosed with cancer & lost her job at the same time. I was self-employed, but took time off from projects to care for her. When I tried to work again after her treatments were complete, the economy had tanked and I was only 10% busy.
We suffered financially for the better part of 3 years and came within a hair of losing our house. Thankfully in late 2010 things started to turn around. They're still pretty dicey, but I'm trying to stay optimistic and I keep plugging away at this publishing "second career" to try to make ends meet.
Anyway, I've been at it for a few yea ... read more

"A novelist to rival Sheldon..." Cosmopolitan magazine.
"Superbly crafted thrillers...compelling suspense." The Sunday Times.
It was a meeting with Sidney Sheldon that inspired Jennifer Bacia (pronounced 'batcher') to write her first suspense thriller. The results were a debut author's dream. Publishers battled over the rights and 'Indecent Ambition' was bought for a record-breaking advance. The novel was an international best seller, a Book Club Choice, a lead title in the UK and the movie rights were optioned. Sales were also made to leading foreign publishers and an extract featured in 'Cosmopolitan' magazine.

While she'll read anything that isn't nailed down, she considers herself a YA reader and writer at heart. Pattimari believes that writing is magical, where your fingers will fly across a computer's keyboard making up stories and building on your characters. She says the characters in her books come to her in dreams - telling her the directions in which to take them. She realizes we each have a book inside of ourselves, and all we have to do is to have enough faith in our abilities to write, and when we do and sit down to write; that's when the magic comes and takes over.
She says even though she has written 28 books, she believes she is still in the learning process and with each books learns a better way of describing a story. Her hero is Pearl Buck who won a Nobel Prize for her wonderful descriptive writing.
