I am retired with my wonderful husband and we live on a fifty-four acre ranch in Arizona on solar and wind. I am the “greenest” person and I know, even if I don’t want to be!

He began his studies in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido (1974), and received his dan ranking in 1978.
In 1976, while still a kyu-ranked student, he was asked to instruct the Aikido section of "an Introduction to the Martial Arts" -- an accredited curriculum at Los Angeles Valley College -- by his mentor, Dr. Lynn D. I was delighted by the response to my comedy thriller, Accidental Hitman and I'm even more delighted to have a new novel out. Entitled Christ, Man! It's another comedy thriller and has fun with the story of the Man Himself.
I have also beefed up my short story collection, Black no Sugar because I realised that two of the stories were... well, they were rubbish. But not anymore - I've digitally remastered it.

Winning a tin of chocolate in a national essay competition at primary school inspired Christine Stovell to become a writer! After graduating from UEA, she took various jobs in the public sector writing research papers and policy notes by day and filling up her spare drawers with embryonic novels by night. Losing her dad to cancer made her realise that if she was ever going to get a novel published she had to put her writing first.
Setting off, with her husband, from a sleepy seaside resort on the east coast in a vintage wooden boat to sail halfway round Britain provided the inspiration for her novel Turning the Tide.
Christine's novels include, Turning The Tide, Move Over Darling and Follow Me (July 2014).
