A private school eighth-grade hiking trip in the mountains turns to disaster when twelve young teenagers are trapped in a hut during a blizzard on a snow-capped mountain in Australia and forced to lay aside their differences for a chance at survival.

An overnight camping and canoe trip on a lake turns bad for six teenagers when they run foul of a murderous drug trafficker and his associate. What follows is a game of cat-and-mouse between the two groups in daylight and darkness.

A week-long visit during Easter to a large outback sheep property in a remote part of the south-eastern Australia becomes deadly as six teenagers at first are stalked by Middle-East terrorists, whom they then have to stalk, with the help of a wise old aborigine, after one of their number is kidnapped.

Two teenage Australian boys travel to England as guests of the wealthy influential father of the kidnapped girl they helped save from Middle East terrorists in the outback. For one of the boys, it is also a search for the truth about the mystery that lay behind the kidnapping and who the real villains are. The success he found in his quest was unexpected.

A 12-year-old boy with dreams of being a helicopter pilot, Julian, and his widowed father, Craig, move from a small city to a big metropolis to start a new life. Upon arrival, Craig dies accidently, and Julian flees foster care to live as a homeless street kid until badly burned saving a baby from a car fire. Whilst in hospital, he is offered a home by the baby's wealthy grandparents.

Almost recovered from his severe burns suffered four years earlier, Julian is now aged seventeen and has commenced his helicopter-flying lessons. After qualifying, he finds himself in the desert of Central Australia, where he falls in love with a teenage Californian girl, Alison, who is on holiday with her family, before saving the lives of three children, two of whom are Alison's younger brothers

Julian has been invited by the parents of the two American boys he rescued to spend his September school holiday with them in Los Angeles. Whilst their, love continues to blossom between him and their 15-year-old daughter, Alison. But, whilst flying a helicopter for a local radio station, he finds himself in a tense fight against massive wildfires, and suffers mental traumas which go undiagnosed.

Having survived some dangerous situations and seen death during the wildfire crisis in California, Julian returns home to Australia severely traumatised, but neither he nor those around him are aware. He begins abusing alcohol, which finally leads to an act of violence against his best friend. Diagnosed with PTSD, he goes to a rehab unit for teens, before slowly recovering and reclaiming his life.

Set in Australia, Kendal, a morbidly obese teenage boy who wants to be an endurance athlete, travels 1200 miles from a big city in the south to a sub-tropical coastal town to receive help from Dennis, a retired psychologist. With patient guidance from Dennis, he learns about healthy lifestyles, confronts his emotional demons, and finds himself on the road to realising his dream.
