Ekoyata, a young Nigerian millionaire, lives in Arizona, USA, where he does his courier business. When he is four years, the American police arrests him over drug traffic indictment and sends him back home to Baneke, his Nigerian country home. He lodges with his old aunt, Obehi, in an old mud house. Very close to the house is a forest inside which a cemetery lays, that might be what is most interesting in Baneke. Ekoyata finds other interesting misfortunes so much that he sees his newly known home as a unique planet of different orbit. For East or West, home is the best, he could use his riches to turn around the misfortune of the town. But he is afraid that a dangerous cabal would kill him. He just finds that more than twenty million people keep Baneke as it is and harvest from the drama of misery and poverty.
