Despite my initial stress about tumbling through time and the gig I lied my way into, working as a Governess in the late 1880's has turned out to be a blast.
Kids, I've discovered to my surprise, aren't devious little flesh-eating Imps. They're actually pretty rad little people who eagerly soak up my outlandish stories of Superheros, and Flying Muscle Cars, like parched sponges.
And then ask for more.
Fate, with the help of an ancient mythical Australian creature, gave me the gift of finding my true purpose in life by helping women in their times of need. Giving them a safe house to stay in and just take a breath.
A place to get back on their feet.
I helped with educating them and giving them a purpose and a promise of another life outside of living in an abusive marital home.
I was also given the blessing of finding true love and my soul mate.
And no word of a lie, when we're together we could burn down the world with the sparks of our sexual passion.
I'm so in love with my man that even if I could return to my own time, I wouldn't and couldn't leave him.
