Human kind is not native to Darth, the people there arrived on a resettlement ship from an overpopulated planet called Arth. The people who settled on Darth were mostly farmers and ranchers who wanted a simpler life than the busy high-tech life they had experienced on Arth. The flight from Arth to Darth took 1382 years with many generations of settlers and crew members. During the flight many of the settlers and crew members developed extra-sensory abilities and access to powers previously believed to be supernatural. A scientist and senior member of the crew, Colonel Qiana, studied these talents and skills. In the process, she discovered that in addition to the extra-sensory skills such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation, there were eight power sources that could be accessed by some. Colonel Qiana determined that these power sources were accessed by tuning in to different frequencies. So, she developed a series of songs that hit those frequencies. Using those songs, those who had the ability could access the powers at will. As technology waned those with the ability split into Sorcerers, Witches and Warlocks. join the adventures of citizens of Darth.
