The Blue Prometheus series begins in London during the London Riots but quickly moves to a distant planet threatened by an aggressive commercial empire intent on exploiting the vast resources of the planet, regardless of the effect on the local population, and the intelligent alien species living in the vast primeval forest that covers much of the surface. Ultimately, they must raise the Fire of Prometheus, which will raise the consciousness of the inhabitants of the planet and beyond.
