During a recent vacation to the beautiful country of Croatia, author Leanne Jones was inspired by the many famous inventors who came from the small country. A story idea began to form.
From her experience as a schoolteacher, Leanne noticed children could be encouraged toward one of the highest forms of intellectual expression which is invention.
Mr. Braschuk lived with his wife in a small house on Sixth Avenue in Port Alberni, British Columbia. He invented a marvellous motor that ran perpetually on air. Everyone said it couldn’t be done, but there it was, running in his workshop where children from the neighbourhood gathered to watch with interest.
