Buenos Aires was the main port we visited. This was a major port for us, and we could stay there a fairly long time - several days if not weeks. It was a beautiful city even though we mostly visited the red light district there. This was a stretch on "25 de Mayo". It was full of bars, and these were equally full of bar girls. No wonder we sailors were attracted to it.

The stories I have collected here are those I experienced in Buena Venture - reputed to be the most violent city in the country. The "red light district" in this place was called "shankel hill" and that is where we sailors spent most of our time. That we survived was because of the girls - we spent most or our time getting drunk and getting laid.

This is an introduction to "a sailors tales of bars and bargirls". Memories from my adventurous time in the merchant marine. I was a rather wild young man, and my tales contain erotic material. After all, the bar girls were usually attractive and eager to provide a good time for a young sailor. In this series I will share those memories with you.
