My exam a couple years ago, the non-VA doctor said that I had learned to “cope”. She looked at my original diagnose the Army doctors gave me back in 1970, schizophrenia and changed it to “PTSD”. I used the information I have provided to correct the original finding and gave her the documentation she used to determine my new rating. I hope this helps anyone to do the same.
